The Council submits the following Grace to the Regent House. This Grace, unless it is withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 112), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 1 December 2023. Further information on requests for a ballot or the amendment of Graces is available to members of the Regent House on the Regent House Petitions site.§
1. That Regulation 4 of the Ordinance for the Martin C. Faulkes Bell Fund (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 846) be amended to read as follows:1
4. After provision has been made in accordance with Regulation 3, the remaining capital and income of the Fund shall be used to provide grants towards the maintenance of the Bells from time to time, and provided always that the Managers are satisfied that sufficient funds are available to provide such grants, part of the income of the Fund may be used to support bell-ringing at Great St Mary’s Church, in such manner as the Managers shall determine.

support of the donor, to apply part of the income of the Fund for other purposes that
are consonant with the Fund’s original purpose, in accordance with Statute E I 8.

The Council has sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on Saturday, 25 November 2023:
