ELECTION OF HEAD OF HOUSE

The Governing Body of Selwyn College intends to elect a new Head of House in succession to Sir David Harrison who retires on 30 September 2000.

The Governing Body would like to hear from any interested person who would wish to be considered or who would like to recommend any suitable person. The Governing Body is seeking to elect a distinguished scholar who will not have reached the age of sixty-five by 1 October 2000, and who wishes to play an active part in the further development of the College as a lively community of Fellows, graduates, and undergraduates.

TREVELYAN RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Selwyn College invites applications for a Trevelyan Research Fellowship, tenable from 1 October 2000 for three years. The Fellowship is for research in the Natural Sciences, Mathematics, or Engineering. Candidates must be completing, or have completed within the last three years, a Ph.D. Degree. Those already holding postdoctoral positions within the University are welcome to apply.
