It is the policy of the Reporter to acknowledge errors of fact and substantive amendments to content that are made after initial publication by publishing a Notice and/or attaching an explanatory note in both the PDF and html versions of the issue concerned. In most cases, the original content will be amended and a footnote will be published adjacent to the location of the corrected text to record what has been changed. No published link will be taken down, although the original content may be amended or, exceptionally, removed and an explanation provided.
Formatting, typographical or grammatical errors will generally be corrected without acknowledgement, provided that they do not change the meaning of, or alter the impression given by, the original text.
The decision about how to handle a correction is at the discretion of the Editor, who will take legal and other considerations into account. Notification of errors should be sent to reporter.editor@admin.cam.ac.uk.
